The 2011 Kia Optima continues to rake in the accolades. Previously, the car was named a top Safety Pick for 2011 by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Now, the award-winning sedan has received an overall rating of five-out-of-five stars from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
