The Geneva Auto Show happened earlier this month, and it featured a variety of unique new vehicles. One vehicle on show was the second generation Kia Cee'd . The oddly-named Cee'd is the only car with an apostrophe in its name and is the European version of the Kia Forte, as we know it in the U.S. The Cee'd name is used in Europe only, but it's sold everywhere else as the Forte.

Though it might have a funny European name, the Kia Forte holds some incredible features, and these are sure to improve with the model's 2013 refresh. At Geneva, a five-door hatchback and a wagon variant of the Cee'd were shown, both of which will be sold in Europe later this year. These vehicles will most likely be extremely similar to next Forte, so we'll list some of the standout features.

Though all of the new Kia details haven't been revealed yet, we do know for sure that  the vehicle will feature a new 135- horsepower Gamma 1.6-liter direct-injected four-cylinder engine, as well as a 1.4-liter gasoline engine and two diesel options (which likely won't be available in the U.S.). The 1.6-engine will be combined with a very fuel-efficient dual-clutch automatic transmission. The refreshed model will also get exterior and interior upgrades.
